TELESALES EXECUTIVE – HAYNE SOLUTIONS, STRATFORD-UPON-AVON – Part time

HAYNE Solutions is a leading consultancy providing software technology solutions, related services and support to large organisations across the UK and sometimes beyond. We are a fast growing organisation and work with a number of leading software vendors.

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic part time (25 to 30 hrs) telesales executive based in our Stratford-upon-Avon office. You will work closely with and be supported by an experienced sales and marketing team.

Assistant Chef – Mary Arden’s Farm – Full-time, fixed term contract (REF 140)

The Trust is looking for a full-time Assistant Chef to join the team at Mary Arden’s Farm until Sunday 4th November 2018. You will prepare food and drinks to the required service standards, paying attention to portion control, quality and presentation.

To be successful in this role you should have experience of working in a commercial kitchen, have strong food knowledge, be aware of food hygiene and kitchen standards. You should have a genuine interest and passion for food, and be able to work as part of a small team and also independently. You should have strong interpersonal skills and be able to manage situations as they arise to make sure our customers are not impacted.

Media Officer – full-time, one year contract (REF 141)

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking for a versatile, dynamic Media Officer to join the busy External Relations Department.

You will be working across traditional and digital media to promote our charity as the global centre for learning about and experiencing the works, life and times of the world’s most famous writer. This is a varied role within the small in-house External Relations team, providing crucial support to the successful day-to-day running of our PR and public affairs programmes.

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience of working in a busy PR team, you will be highly organised, have strong administrative skills with great attention to detail and be willing to take responsibility for operational processes. You should be able to work as part of a team, as well as independently. You must have an ability and desire to interact with the public, media and stakeholders at all levels, and be able to spot opportunities based on conversations with internal and external stakeholders.

Retail Sales Assistant – part-time, permanent contract (REF 142)

The Trust is looking for a part-time, permanent Retail Sales Assistant to work an average of 20 hours per week in the Birthplace Shop.

During busy periods we welcome in excess of 300,000 people to our lively shop and need the help of enthusiastic team members to make their visit to Shakespeare’s Birthplace a memorable one. So if you have a love of hard work, sales, display and meeting thousands of different people from all over the world united by their love of Shakespeare’s life, work and legacy then we may have just the job for you. 

Day to day tasks will involve till operation, merchandising of displays, a fair amount of lifting/carrying heavy items, adding value to customer’s purchases and experiences, advising prospective visitors of the offer of the Trust and helping to ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the Birthplace Shop. 

Shakespeare's Birthplace and the Gift Shop are open seven days a week, and you will be required to work weekdays, weekends and a fair share of Bank Holidays so you should be flexible and available.

Previous retail experience is beneficial. Excellent customer service, an enquiring mind and an outgoing personality are essential.

Visitor Reception Assistants – Shakespeare’s Birthplace – Casual contract (REF 144)

The Trust is looking for casual Visitor Reception Assistants to join the Visitor Reception team at Shakespeare’s Birthplace until Sunday 2nd September 2018.

As Visitor Reception Assistant you will be responsible for delivering excellent standards of visitor experience through a warm welcome and sharing of information to enhance visitors’ understanding of the offer.  You will also contribute to the financial sustainability of the Trust by ensuring that opportunities are taken to maximise sales through an efficient and professional admission process leading to increased average admissions and secondary spends.

To be successful in this role you will have experience of working in a high profile, customer-facing operation, preferably a busy visitor attraction with a diverse audience.  You will be used to delivering against a range of KPIs including financial and visitor satisfaction targets.  A sound understanding of customer service principles, experience of using EPOS ticketing systems, and cash handling are also essential.

You will be required to work alternate weekends and Bank Holidays.
