Administrator - Estates – Part-time, fixed term contract – maternity cover

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking for a part-time Administrator to work with the Property Services and Estates Team to cover maternity leave.

Working 14 hours a week, you will provide support administrative support to the Property Services Team to assist with the delivery of an efficient and effective general maintenance and facilities support service to all historic and service properties owned by the Trust. You will provide an exceptional experience for customers from the moment of first contact and champion a high standard of general maintenance and presentation.

To be successful in this role, you will have administrative experience within a building, servicing or manufacturing environment and experience of working with contractors or trade specialists. You should have a NVQ in Administration/IT and/or a European Computer Driving Licence.

You will be approachable with good listening and verbal communication skills and be able to prioritise, whilst delivering consistent high standards. You should have a willingness to assist and learn in any area of Property Services work.

Administrator – Hospitality – Part-time, permanent contract

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking for a part-time Administrator to work with the Hospitality Management Team

You will provide support specifically to the Head of Hospitality and the catering management system (CMS) administration, producing management information to ensure that the operation runs efficiently and profitably. You will assist in the initial implementation and input of data to become the super user for the CMS, and assist in training for other staff and thereafter systematically managing the system.

You will provide a warm welcome and informative response to customers, guests and the public in a variety of forms. You will organise and maintain event, conference and meeting calendars for internal and external business by effective communications, gathering of information and details required to deliver a high quality hospitality service, whilst also deal with anomalies effectively and efficiently.

To be successful in this role, you will have strong administrative experience and be used to working on various systems, experience of hospitality or stock control systems would be an advantage. You will be have good communication and interpersonal skills, possess strong attention to detail, and be able to prioritise your own work to ensure that deadlines are met.

Cleaner – Anne Hathaway’s Cottage

The Trust is looking to recruit a part-time, permanent Cleaner to work at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage.

You will be required to work 6:00am to 8:30am four mornings a week between Monday and Saturday, and 6:00am to 8:30am on one Sunday morning in every three weeks. There will also be extra hours available to cover the other two Cleaners holidays.

You will be responsible for cleaning the Cottage, retail and reception areas to a high standard. You will do the general cleaning which will include toilets, sweeping, vacuuming, moping and dusting. The essential qualities are flexibility, reliability and previous experience of cleaning. You will be responsible for delivering excellent standards of cleaning to enhance the visitor experience through a well presented site and suitable care of the collection and buildings.
