It's a light, malty, toffee amber beer.which Hook Norton Brewery produced to support and  raise money for the Shakespeare Hospice.

A timber framed building dating back to the 1400's with a rich history including plagues, fatal fires and priest holes, many former occupants still visit from the "other side"!. Take your choice from the Abbott Ale it's 5% dark with a fruity taste, Old golden hen - golden, smooth 4.1%, IPA - 3.6% hoppy, light or Shakesbeer - 3.9% medium all round.
