The Bear Free House & Kitchen

The The Bear Freehouse is CAMRA winner Shakespeare branch pub of 2015. Sample the "Bear’s Best Bitter" from the North Cotswold Brewery. It's 3.6% AVB. Brewed specially for The Bear Freehouse. A golden bitter, hoppy to the nose and malty on the palate. A classic session beer.

The Church Street Townhouse, opposite Shakespeare’s old schoolhouse, has an excellent choice of well-kept ales, craft beers, a famous and fabulous selection of whiskies and gins, plus wines and bubbles by the glass.  Sample “Nice Try” a 3.8% ABV Bitter. It's a light, malty, toffee amber beer.which Hook Norton Brewery produced to support and  raise money for the Shakespeare Hospice.

Our Heritage Our Passion Your IPA. Sample "Greene King IPA". Our brewers have carefully selected a pale crystal ale, where black malts join with pilgrim challenger and first gold hops to make a complex refreshing ale. Dry and crisp with a refreshing finish. The aroma is fresh, clean and hoppy.
The Garrick

Reputed to be the oldest pub in Stratford, with the freshest ales! A timber framed building dating back to the 1400's with a rich history including plagues, fatal fires and priest holes, many former occupants still visit from the "other side"!. Take your choice from the Abbott Ale it's 5% dark with a fruity taste, Old golden hen - golden, smooth 4.1%, IPA - 3.6% hoppy, light or Shakesbeer - 3.9% medium all round.

Real ale as it's meant to be - straight from the cask! Sample "Malty Pig Bitter" from the area's newest micro brewery Stratford-upon_Avon Brewery. It's 4.4% ABV. Dark gold in colour, made with British hops and chocolate malts. Well balanced with hints of caramel and a hoppy aroma!.
 
Please note the Stratford Alehouse will close at 7pm on Saturday and Sunday.

The White Swan

The bards local?  It's thought the Bard supped many a pint of mead on these premises.  Great selection of real ales in beautiful historic surroundings. Sample "Oliver’s Island" from the Fuller, Smith & Turner Brewery in Chiswick, London. It's 3.8% ABV. Oliver’s Island is the White Swams newest ale. It is a smooth and refreshing golden ale. A unique blend of floral and citrus hops and golden malt, combined with orange peel, delivers delicate citrus and tropical fruit notes.
The Windmill

Traditional 16th Century black and white pub. Well known for quality cask ale, delicious food and friendly service. Sample Pure Gold which is 3.8% AVB is from the local Purity brewery. Pure Gold is a refreshing Golden Ale, made with English Maris Otter Malt and East Kent and Styrian Golding Hops, creating a surprisingly smooth, easy drinking beer with subtle citrus flavours.
